No More Visas! Ghana and Morocco Strengthen Ties with Bold Travel Agreement

Ghana and Morocco to drop the visa requirements required from travelers when voyaging between the two jurisdictions. In a meeting between Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and the Moroccan Ambassador Imane Ouaadil to Ghana, the two parties agreed on the essence of scrapping this travel requirements to facilitate movement among among countries.

Concerns regarding Africans’ safety in Morocco were also discussed by Ambassador Ouaadil. The video being shared is from a border incident on June 24, 2022, where 23 individuals were killed, she explained, dismissing social media accusations that 700 Africans had been murdered. No Ghanaians were among the victims, according to investigations by Moroccan and Spanish authorities.
