So you are planning to visit a visa free country with the reason being for vacation, pleasure, attending an event etc.? I am going to tell you the checklist or the basic requirements one must have before being allowed entry to that country.
- A valid Passport
Though being a visa free country which requires no visa for the purpose of tourism, there are yet some basic requirements one must comply before being allowed entry and these are as follows:
Passport is a mandatory document required to get access or entry into any port of entry. Persons traveling through a port of entry must provide a passport for stamping and also to show the nationality of the traveler. The passport must be valid for six (6) months and have a blank page or pages in the visa section where the stamping, departure and arrival dates will be recorded.

- Flight Ticket
Persons traveling to a visa free country will be required to provide a round trip or return flight ticket at the port of entry to show or guarantee that the traveler will leave or return to their home country after their visit.
- Hotel Reservation
In order to be granted access to a port of entry of a visa free country, Persons traveling must provide proof of accommodation in the form of hotel reservation. The reservation should contain the facility’s address and contact and also show the details of the person and duration of their stay overseas.
- Bank Statement
Another mandatory document required in order to be granted entry to a port of entry of a visa free country is the financial or bank statement. The financial statement must contain an amount of money which can sustain the traveler throughout his or her stay overseas.
- Purpose of visit
Last but not being the least, the traveler must have a reason or purpose for visiting that particular country. At the port of entry of the visiting country, the immigration officers can refuse entry of certain persons when they are not convinced with their purpose of traveling.
Therefore the traveler must give a concrete reason for their trip. For instance, if you are traveling or visiting for vacation or attending an event, then explain why the event is important to you and its significance in your return to your home country, and so on.
